Some things to know about printing plates

Printed board is a color coated board with printed patterns or designs. It is a new type of home appliance board and building material decoration board developed abroad in recent years. Printed color coated sheet is a product in which the galvanized substrate is printed on the surface after coating process to obtain various patterns. Compared with the coated plate, the printed plate board has more elegant, more beautiful, higher rigidity and better performance. With the progress of the country's life and death, this product will become more and more popular in the market.

Stamped panels are usually achieved through the process of color coating line consumption. The widely used color coating consumption line is a two-coating and two-baking consumption process, and its finishing machine is often equipped with two coating heads for quickly changing the color of the topcoat. Printing consumption can be realized on such consumption lines, i.e. the concave area case is engraved on the sticky rollers of the No. 1 finishing machine. The sticking rollers transfer the pattern to the coating rollers, which transfer the pattern to the steel strip for printing. After drying, finishing machine No. 2 applies a varnish or transparent protective film to the outside.

In order to print the pattern on the coated film of the printing plate, the pattern is first etched on the purple copper rollers, and then the copper rollers are chrome-plated. As the printing roller for coating printing, the pattern on the outside is concave. The printing roller is dipped into the color paste from the color paste tray, and then the color paste on the outside of the concave surface is scraped off with a squeegee. When the printing roller comes into contact with the transfer roller, the color paste in the pattern is transferred to the transfer roller and then printed on the surface of the steel plate. After heating and drying at the proper temperature, the pattern is firmly attached to the coating film of the steel plate.

The performance requirements of the printing plate:

1. No obvious pores, bubbles, piling up and wrinkling are allowed.

2. The surface is not allowed to have pockmarks, impurities, scratches, turbidity and uneven coating.

3. Serious leakage, coating peeling, color mixing and sticking are not allowed. Do not allow the coating to become brittle, yellow or dark due to excessive baking.

4. Do not allow significant color difference or uneven light.

Printed panels are widely used. If the color difference occurs during the use of the plate, it will inevitably affect the use of the customer and cause losses to the enterprise. What are the influencing factors?

1. Coating

Due to uneven mixing of paints or large differences in the viscosity of paints in different barrels, the paint extends from the inlet side to the return direction in the pallet, and color difference bands appear. In addition, changing the color of the paint, especially two colors with large color contrast, can cause color difference due to poor cleaning.

2. Substrate

Printed board substrate zinc flower size difference will also affect the color difference, in the grain boundary will form many small pits of different sizes, affecting the board color difference. For light colors, the color difference is especially obvious, choose no zinc flower or small zinc flower substrate.

3. Chemical coating treatment

Improper coating process for printed boards can cause the coating film to be too thick and the board temperature to be insufficient after drying. If the coating roller roll body is injured, yellow spots will be formed after drying, resulting in color difference of color aluminum roll, especially light color.

In the production process, the cooling water of the printing plate should keep overflow appropriately so that the condensed volatiles can be overflowed and excluded in time to avoid color difference on the surface of the printing plate.
